My brother has worked there for over 4 years as a dietary aid. He has a learning disability and the manager of the kitchen and assistant manager began making fun of him and being just mean for no reason. Honestly that's just straight up mean and so rude especially bc he doesn't like conflict and is the nicest and the most quite man you've ever met. That kitchen is a joke and if your parents live here be careful. If they can make fun of a kid with a learning disability imagine what they say about your loved ones .

Parents just arrived. I thought that this was going to be a great place. But I am not impressed. The food is terrible. Looks like canned food, not homemade. The staff doesn't have a positive caring attitude. They only have one Medical Assistant for 15 patients. Ridiculous! The staff at U of R Strong Memorial hospital was tremendous compared to Aaron Manor. Go somewhere else.. Don't waste your time here.

My Mom has been at Aaron Manor for about 2 months and the staff here are amazing. Megan the PA has been wonderful to my Mom and has kept me updated every step of the way. Penny the social worker has gone above and beyond and has been understanding and caring to our situation. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my Mom.

My husband stayed here a few years ago when he had a knee replacement. Now he just broke his hip and will rehabilitation again... I dearly love my husband and know from experience that I pray he comes back to Aaron.. The staff was so wonderful, empathetic, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. The way you wish for your loved one. I knew when I left from visiting that I left him in very good hands.

We just lost my mom after a 8 month stay at Aaron Manor. I can't say enough about how clean the facility is, how well-cared-for the residents are & how helpful & competent the staff is from the doctors, PA's, aides, nurses & other support staff to the financial people. My mom loved it there & quickly bonded with her caregivers. They treated her like part of their own family. I would highly recommend this facility.

Types of Problems at Nursing Homes
Some issues within a nursing home are much more severe than others. Medicare evaluates each problem based on 2 scales: the number of residents affected by a problem and the severity of the potential or actual harm to residents based on the problem. We have color coded the matrix below to make it easier to pick out the more severe problems. In general, orange and red issues related to the treatment of a resident are considered substandard quality of care.
